Overview

Duncan J. Campbell

Unlike the tort system’s inadequacies, I value the efficiency of the workers’ compensation system, as it can be utilized to systematically help employers and insurers quickly resolve or minimize the consequences stemming from workplace injuries.

As a fourth-generation Oregonian, attorney Duncan Campbell is passionate about efficiently and aggressively fighting for the rights of Oregon insurers and self-insured employers.  As such, his practice is dedicated entirely to workers’ compensation defense.

Duncan provides assertive representation for insurance companies and employers in all aspects of workers’ compensation and related matters.  He is strongly committed to advocating for the rights of clients faced with uncertainties of the legal and workers’ compensation systems, and to helping them process claims effectively.

Prior to joining the firm, Duncan was a law clerk in a prestigious local firm, performing extensive legal research primarily focused on the areas of Oregon and Washington State Law regarding torts, insurance law, statutory causes of action, civil procedure, and medical malpractice.  He also drafted memoranda, motions, mediation statements, and pleadings for high-stakes civil and personal injury matters involving statewide employers and insurance companies.

When not practicing law, Duncan enjoys spending quality time with his two dogs, Lewis and Luna, and can often be found on the golf course, claiming that he is “good enough to call himself a bad golfer.”  He is also a bourbon and scotch whiskey enthusiast who is passionate about collegiate and professional sports.
