Overview

Paul Grotzinger

As a workers’ compensation defense attorney who is passionate about helping entrepreneurs, I enjoy helping employers handle workers’ comp matters, and limiting the liability of my clients so they can focus on running and growing their businesses. My hope is to contribute to the protection of the integrity of our workers’ compensation system so the workers who find themselves in true need can avail themselves of a healthy and responsive system that can readily provide the real help they deserve when they need.

Paul provides tenacious representation to employers facing challenging workers’ compensation matters. As the son of two pharmacists, Paul has a unique perspective on the nuances associated with complex injuries, and he uses this insight to provide pragmatic and strategic guidance to help employers avoid costly and unjust work-related injury. Wanting to profoundly impact others, Paul pursued the practice of law and earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence at the University of Oregon School of Law.

Before joining the firm, Paul was in private practice, where he supported corporate clients in complex negotiations and transactional business matters. Notably, Paul served as legal counsel to a software company specializing in security, monitoring, and automation software products and a large pharmaceutical manufacturer, providing strategic corporate and transactional legal services.

When not practicing law, Paul enjoys playing the blues and jazz with other local musicians, as well as sharing his love of music with his father, who he is currently teaching to play the bass guitar.  From a young age, attorney Paul Grotzinger had a deep passion for music, especially the blues, leading him to study classical guitar performance with a minor in American political science at Vanderbilt University.
