After spending several years handling high-stakes torts, tackling the substance of workers’ compensation law was a welcome expansion of my practice.  I consider it an honor to fight to protect the interests of local companies by ensuring that injured employees get back to work as quickly as possible and that all parties receive no more or less than they are entitled.

A Native Oregonian, Sam Sung joined the firm after a dedicated career at the Washington State Office of the Attorney General, where he handled matters involving torts and other employment matters.  Sam uses his experience within the Washington Labor & Industries Division to help clients navigate the workers’ compensation system, tenaciously fighting to protect companies, while ensuring that injured individuals receive no more or less than is deserved.

Before joining the firm, Sam focused primarily on defending the State of Washington against civil tort litigation.  He is also a proud alumnus of the Seattle University School of Law, where he was a member of Phi Alpha Delta and an award-winning mock trial team, as well as an active fundraiser and recruiter for OUTLaws.

As an avid painter, Sam has a deep passion for the arts.  When not working, he can be found creating works of art or taking walks with his beloved pint-sized dogs, a rescue Pomeranian mix and Chihuahua.  He also enjoys socializing with friends and playing intense games of Dungeons and Dragons.
